Stat Guide Empty

I've noticed that people can make characters that are overpowered past the point of being stopped.  They can be extremely frustrating to go against and can lower the appeal of the site in general. So, with that being said, here is a stat system to balance that. However, keep in mind that stats alone don't decide the outcome of any situation.

Each character will receive 50 stat points (SP) to allocate.
The stats will follow as:

Attack- This is how much damage you will do using physical attacks. Examples of this are attacks that are barehanded, with non-magical weapons, and any form of physical damage.

Defense- This is your ability to resist the previously mentioned physical attacks

Special Attack- This is how much damage you will do using magical attacks. (This is almost anything non-physical)

Special Defense- This is your ability to resist the magical attacks previously mentioned.

Speed- This is how fast you move as well as how fast you can react.

Perception - Awareness of surroundings and enemies. (0 being normal eyesight, 1-3 enhanced eyesight, 4-6 Sense, 7-9 near omnipotence, 10 omnipotence. 10 is currently unusable until further notice. Perception at most can go to 3 without the use of some perception enhancing ability)

NOTE: Defense and Sp. Defense only mitigate 1/2 of the damage equal to that stat. For example, if someone has a Defense stat of 30, they would only mitigate 15 damage. If the number is odd, round up. For example, 29 Defense would mitigate 15 damage as well.
